My studio is available for client visits by appointment. 

I have been designing and crafting custom furniture for over thirty-five years.  During this period I have received a MA degree in Art and apprenticed with a master craftsman (Art Carpenter).  I also crafted all the one-off pieces for Paul Tuttle (a furniture designer in Santa Barbara) for 20 years.  My primary media is wood, but I also include steel and glass in my designs.  My design style is contemporary with influences from Danish Modern and several of the craftsmen I’ve been associated with over the years.

Building furniture is a construction process. 

For the last five years I have been exploring sculpture and enjoying it.  

My sculpture is a process of removal (gouge and mallet) which is a different challenge.
