Rosanne Seitz grew up in Winters, California, surrounded by fruit and nut orchards, waving wheat and ranches with sheep and horses. This fertile area has provided her with appreciation and inspiration for her paintings of the Central Coast where she now resides.

"By using watercolor as a tool to express my attraction for strong composition and rich color, I am able to easily paint on location or in my studio; it transports easily and can be used on the spur of the moment when the excitement of a scene or idea is fresh."

She is a member of SLOPE (San Luis Outdoor Painters of the Environment), which raises awareness of natural environmental resources.
