I am a mother of two grown children, and have been making jewelry for about 6 or 7 years.

I have always loved silver.  I started wire wrapping sterling silver earrings.  Then I found Silver clay and I was hooked.

It was very easy for me to incorporate my love of nature into my silver pieces.  I use actual leaves, seed pods, flowers, etc., and cover them with silver and put them into my kiln.  The beautiful form is left and the flower or pod has burned away.

I also love the brilliance of dichroic glass and will use this and other stones, or 22K gold, to accent the silver.

Opening my kiln is like opening a box full of presents!
