Sharon Gove's life-long affinity for beads was "set in stone" years ago. Her grandfather was a gemologist, and her great-grandmother and aunt were copper and enamel artists whose tools Sharon still has.

Her most recent designs include silver pieces onto which a word or phrase—such as "Will you Marry Me?" or "Oy Vey" - is stamped. Blue, green and purple are favorite colors; she especially loves chalcedony, amethyst and opals. Pounding wire to weave into an interesting shape with beads tucked here and there is a favorite technique.

Perpetuating a family tradition, Sharon continues to create wonderful works of jewelry art!
