For over 30 years, Richard Jordan has utilized the lost-wax casting process to create miniature sculpture and jewelry in sterling silver, gold, glass & precious gemstones.  Although primarily self-taught, he attended art schools in California and Australia. A fourth generation native Californian, his art reflects his travels across the Pacific Rim, Hawaii, Australia, Mexico, and Central and South America in pursuit of surfing adventure and artistic stimulation. His work is further characterized by his keen interest in native cultures, historical & anatomical correctness, and inspirational design. Above all, what makes the art of Richard Jordan so distinct is his sense of whimsy. Richard currently resides on the central coast of California, in Los Osos, and does his custom work at 601 Embarcadero, Morro Bay, CA in SUITE l Gallery.
