Fox and Lois Garney have been collaborating on ceramic pieces since 1972. They met in the Ceramics Department of San Jose State University where they discovered their mutual love of clay. After graduating with Bachelor of Art Degrees they opened their first studio in Fresno, Ca. There, they produced a line of ceramics that was exhibited in many galleries and gift shops across the United States.
Their work has evolved from production pottery to individually hand-carved porcelain, which Fox turns on the potter’s wheel and they both carve using a variety of carving techniques. Most of their designs are inspired from nature. Their current work is exhibited throughout California. They reside in Cambria, California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean
