I came to ceramics through a love for cactus and succulents and the unending search for the "perfect" pot. Over the past 17 years I have explored this path with the encouragement of teachers such as Bob Nichols and Bill Shinn, fellow students, artists, and customers on their own search for that special pot.

My stoneware pottery is hand built using either slab or coil construction, fired in whole or part in my studio kiln, which uses solar generated electricity. I utilize both geometric and organic forms and textures for containers which complement the characteristics of the plants that go in them.
